Was yesterday London's hottest day of 2014?

Yesterday could have been the hottest day for London in 2014.

Some of the spaces around London's landmarks offer wonderfully shaded resting places. The back of St. Paul's is a top spot for leafy shade.

Some kids were well repaired by parents, with swimming costumes, for that cooling fountain shower.

No swimming outfit#? Just catch a little refreshing spray ...

Being a kids is best when it gets hot. Just chillin' ...

In the heat I really did wish I had packed my cosy too, but I would have been out performed by the kids.
